This app overlays cellular carrier coverage on a map for easy comparison, and is perfect for you to research, record, and remember where you are and aren't covered across the United States. One of the best parts? You don't need an Internet connection needed to access the maps - the atlases are proprietary, and stored directly on your device. Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands are all included, too! Carriers featured with this app are Verizon, Spring, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

Dish Network - DISH Anywhere App

You might have a TV in your RV, but what are your plans for staying connected to the channels and platforms you love? With DISH Anywhere, you don't have to worry about that. Both live and recorded programs are available anytime, anywhere, and you can manage your home TV with a full DVR manager and searchable program guide. 1. These sound good but apparently only for Apple products?

    1. The vast majority are also available on Google Play for Android Devices as well! Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks for the comment, we will link to Google Play as well next time instead of just to the iTunes App Store!

  2. Anonymous10:14 AM

Many are also available at Google Play Store. Just search....

    1. That's right - thanks for helping us out with the clarification! Next time we'll link to the Google Play store as well for our Android-using friends!

  3. National Geographic's National Parks is not available at the U.S. Store from Apple.

  4. Sorry, but "vast majority" is a bit of a stretch. Pretty sure the real vast majority is Android users vs. Apple.

  5. I didn't see RVParky in the list. It's free and loaded with features2

  6. I didn't see RVParky in the list. It's free and loaded with features.

  7. As far as I can tell none of these route planning apps provide height and weight routing. Anything for those of those with big rigs?

  8. Thank you so much for sharing, love all of them

I would NEVER travel without the app. Shows where you can & can't park overnight in an RV, usually for one night only and most for free. Over 14,000 listings. $25/year to subscribe, but you then earn free weeks when you report back on the locations or report new places. Subscribe at the website & then download their free iPhone or Android App. (have to have the subscription or the app doesn't work)

  10. is there a big problem parking a 40 foot rv in Nationals parks, or elsewhere

  11. The only ones for Android are Roadtrippers, Passport America, Findery, Yonder, iRV2, and of course RV Trader (which is very good). Some of the others have something similar from different companies on Google Playstore. And the RV education 101 has a youtube channel. I really just wanted the RV pocket reference since I am looking to buy right now, but nothing like it on Playstore.
